Common Wealth Development is a private, non-profit community development organization incorporated in 1979. We build community infrastructure through safe, affordable, and healthy housing, local business incubation, and person-centered workforce development for youth and adults, rooted in a foundation of racial justice and health equity. We know that by providing safe and healthy housing, supporting economic stability, and promoting community engagement through outreach activities, we reduce health inequities and the likelihood of violence.
