SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibition - Same time tomorrow: a contemporary art exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Artists: Arianna Bartlett\, Raven Decorah\, Makenna Kull\, Thalia Powell\, Lillian Ripberger\, Madeleine Stoffel\, Malee Thor\, and Vivian Ye \nClosing Reception: Friday\, March 6\, 6-8pm \nLocation: Common Wealth Gallery 100 S Baldwin St\, Madison\, WI \nWe are pleased to announce Same time tomorrow: a contemporary art exhibition\, featuring a cohort of advanced Madison-based artists whose practices have developed through sustained studio engagement and collaborative exchange. Hosted at the Common Wealth Gallery\, the exhibition reflects both individual inquiry and the shared commitment that emerges within a passionate studio community. \nThe title Same Time Tomorrow references a familiar phrase spoken at the end of long studio days. While simple\, the expression signifies community\, resilience\, and an enduring dedication to the arts. It speaks to a collective ethos of returning day after day to the work\, one’s practice and one another—a quiet testament to consistency and persistence that underlies creative growth. \nThis exhibition brings together works that incorporate painting\, sculpture\, ceramics\, metal\, neon\, and mixed media forms\, showcasing the depth and versatility of contemporary art practice. From delicately thrown vessels to experimental sculptural works\, each artist presents a distinct interpretation of material and form\, blending depth\, curiosity\, and raw imagination to explore the boundaries between function and expression. \nOrganized in collaboration with the UW–Madison Art Department and the Common Wealth Gallery\, Same Time Tomorrow is open to the public. Guests are invited to attend a closing reception ceremony on Friday\, March 6th from 6pm to 8pm. We encourage to dress formally for the occasion. Participating artists will be in attendance for brief individual statements and Q&A. \nWe’ll be here at the same time tomorrow. We hope to see you there! \nMore info online: Same time tomorrow: a contemporary art exhibition – UW ART
